The advent of smart boards in school has proved a boon for various reasons. We have been successful in bringing technology to our classrooms with the introduction of interactive whiteboards or Smart boards. These allow students to interact with the lesson content while allowing teachers to integrate a range of resources with their lessons.The classroom transforms into an interactive forum for sharing experiences among students, thus helping in widening their analytical faculties.

At D.P.P.S we follow the mantra of stretching our limits and setting our goals high. We aim to provide a competitive environment where our students excel in all the arenas. We provide opportunities for children to compete in various games in order to build character and embed values such as team work, fairness and sportsmanship.

Every year scores of students get the opportunity to play at state and national level tournaments. We give due recognition to our players who achieve at state, national and international level.

The School library is a learning resource centre in the widest sense as it houses information resources and abundant reading material. The library is well stocked with a wide collection of books, periodicals and CDs on a variety of subjects. The availability of audio-visual aids in the library has proved beneficial for the students.The students gain ample knowledge about the upcoming writers and authors by means of the book weeks organised by the school. Not just this, the students contribute their articles in the magazine titled “Children’s world”. To inculcate reading habits among children, they are honoured with the “voracious reader award”. A reference section for books on braille and educational guidance is another pride feature of the library. The school library fosters the development of life-long learning abilities and love for reading in the students. It also provides teachers with instructional materials.

The computer lab is well-equipped with latest Technology. The presence of computer lab enlivens the teaching methodology and breaks away from the conventional method of teaching using chalk and talk. In addition to it, the students expand their horizon of knowledge in the field of information and technology. The school has separate computer labs for senior and junior wings (two senior labs and one junior lab). All systems have Broadband Internet facility which can be easily extended as and when required. The labs are continuously upgraded for students to learn latest software skills. Furthermore, the students get ample opportunities to explore the websites relevant to their syllabus.
